This year we all learned something new - washing our hands properly for 20 seconds keeps us healthy and safe. A lot of people had fun in improving their technique from singing 'Happy Birthday' twice, to creating some fun lyrics or participating in the #20seconds challenge. We all added some humour to deal with the pandemic grappling the world.

The need of the hour demands us to work remotely and in most cases from the comfort of our own homes. With us being confined to our 'bubble' we have the opportunity to skill-up, learn and grow ourselves to prepare for the after-fact (If it isn't entirely clear, I'm the glass is half-full kinda person). As we fit into the new normal, businesses worry about team health and productivity. We've got you covered for one of those things — productivity.

When it's business as usual, your team members are juggling with different priorities. Work happens, and training or learning takes a back seat. This transitional period offers you and your team the ability to improve efficiency, processes and make them more effective without giving up on other work-related tasks.

Most of your team members spend their day on Atlassian Products - namely Jira and Confluence. But here's the big question, are you using it to its full potential?

Why should you invest in Jira and Confluence training?

Atlassian products have some robust features that have the capability to transform the way you work. Hence, we decided to start Virtual Training Classes for Jira and Confluence. We've had in-person training sessions and workshops for a while now, and as the world went on remote mode, we thought why not us!

All the Atlassian Authorised Training sessions are available virtually. Here are some most popular courses:

Jira Essentials with Agile Mindset

Who should take it?

New Jira users: product managers, project administrators, Jira application administrators, developers, and system administrators or similar

Expertise Level

Introductory level. No experience in Jira required

What to expect?

This half-day hands-on course provides a solid foundation for using Jira. This course applies to Cloud and Server customers. You'll be given the option to use either platform for the hands-on labs.

If you have 2-3 years of hands-on Jira experience, we highly recommend Jira Administration -1 instead.  Check out our latest public schedule for these classes.

Jira and Confluence Together

Who should take it?

Project managers, business analysts and developers, Jira and Confluence application administrators, Jira and Confluence users.

Expertise Level

Introductory level. No experience in Jira required

What to expect?

In this course, you'll learn how to use Jira and Confluence together in ways that enable teams to manage projects seamlessly across the two applications. Teams using the applications together have a single source of truth for a project- Confluence for knowledge management and Jira for work management. This course applies to Cloud and Server customers. You'll be given the option to use either platform for the hands-on labs.

Whether you've started your Atlassian Cloud journey or recently migrated  — Jira Essentials, Jira Essentials with Agile Mindset, Jira Administration -1, and Jira and Confluence Together are available on Cloud and Server.

Confluence Server Essentials

Who should take it?

All Confluence users. Technical and non-technical teams

Expertise Level

Introductory level. No experience in Confluence required.

What to expect?

You'll learn the basics of Confluence, how to use it to create content and collaborate with co-workers. You'll first dive into the basics: creating, editing and formatting pages, adding different types of content like files, links and graphics, editing collaboratively and using the hidden power tool of Confluence – macros. But creating content is only half the story. You'll also get into the power-user realm, where you'll learn to organise content and to extend Confluence with other applications (available from the Marketplace). You'll also learn how to create content in Confluence to expose Jira information. This course will get you on the path to becoming a skilled Confluence power-user.

If you have 2-3 years of hands-on Confluence experience, we highly recommend Confluence Server Administration instead.
