Prerequisites

Install the following plugins via Confluence Plugin Manager

1. Linking Plugin
2. Adaptavist Content Formatting Macros
3. HTML Plugin

Disable the following plugins

1. HTML Macros

Brief Installation Instructions

1. Install/Update via Atlassian Plugin Repository or download the theme .jar file
2. Install theme as plugin via Administration/Plugins/Browse/Upload
3. Create New Space
   Choose TechTime Blog Theme
4. Upload the space logo via Space Admin/Change Space Logo
   The Logo file should be 800px in width to be in style with the theme
5. Add a page with name "About" with any text about your blog or follow the instructions below to override About in the side panel.
6. Add a page with name "Featured Articles" with any list of featured articles or follow the instructions below to override Featured Articles in the side panel.

Overriding parts of the right panel

1. If you want to override the whole side panel - create a page named "Side Panel" and include anything you want there.
2. If any of the default components in the Side Panel needs to be removed/overridden - create the corresponding page named "Side Panel Part X":
   1. Search - Side Panel Part One
   2. About - Side Panel Part Two
   3. Page Options - Side Panel Part Three
   4. Calendar - Side Panel Part Four
   5. Recently Updated - Side Panel Part Five
   6. Popular - Side Panel Part Six
   7. Popular Labels - Side Panel Part Seven
   8. Featured Articles - Side Panel Part Eight
   9. Archive Links - Side Panel Part Nine

Other aspects of configuration

The Theme is morphing according to user's permissions
It supports distinctly:

• anonymous users
• authenticated users
• those with page create rights
• those with news create rights
• space admins and global admins

Consider having special groups to denote those who can create content, those who can administer the space and regular users.

Errata

These are known issues to be fixed in future versions:

• When in Rich-Text mode comment box does not fit and is rendered with scrollbars
• Anonymous user can still edit pages, blogposts and attachments if one enters the URL directly
• Anonymous add page and add news modes look ugly
• Breadcrumbs for posts with long titles look ugly
• Impossible to add Labels to a blogpost without going into an edit mode
