For many years now I have heavily relied on the approach to analysis described in the SunTone methodology as used by Sun Microsystems.
I refer to the a little gem that is known as SunTone Cube.
In my view an analysis based on SunTone Cube is a very powerful yet simple tool.
Its simplicity is in its 3D structure, that is easily grasped by most human beings.
Its power is in thorough addressing of multiple concerns typically encountered in decision making process.
I apply this approach in a multitude of diverse areas, including those far removed from the software development.
It has never let me down when I actually used it.
In the context of an application development one should imagine a 3-dimensional matrix (cube) along the following axis:
As an example:
For all it's simplicity, in the configuration as used by TechTime it requires 325 aspects to be considered.
To ease this process even more and allow slicing of information an application is sought of.
